CRISIS CACHE BURIAL CANISTERS
Although we specifically do not recommend "water burial" of your survival items (for obvious reasons), when sealed with the enclosed lid sealant, the canisters below have easily passed a 72-hour submersion test in 4 feet of water and come out bone dry. As most people aren’t going to bury their important survival items in a lake, a three-day test was deemed sufficient, but in all reality, they probably would have remained dry for much longer. Years, perhaps.
Model # CCBC $27.99 postpaid
Specifications:
- Outside dimensions: 7 inch diameter x 8 ¼ inches tall
- Inside dimensions: 6 ½ inch diameter x 8 inches tall
- Volume is approximately 1 gallon
- Weight of the burial canister, itself, is about 10 ounces

Each Crisis Cache Burial Canister Kit contains the following:
- One Black Plastic Burial Canister with Lid
- One 11" x 16.2" x 5.75," 4.3 mil, Silver Mylar Bag With Zipper Closure (The extra 5.75" dimension is because this is a "gusseted," or stand up bag.)
- One "1 unit" Montmorillonite Clay Desiccant Pack (33 grams, or 1.16 ounces each). One Desiccant pack will protect a space equaling .83 cubic foot, and the volume of the CCBC Burial Canister is .134, so using 1 pack is redundant by a factor of over 6 (a good thing when your life may depend on your food and equipment remaining dry, as well as rust, mold, and mildew free). The desiccant pack is vacuum sealed in a Mylar bag and is shipped with a moisture level of from 0 – 2%. As it will rapidly begin to adsorb moisture from the air, it should not be opened until ready to use.
- 1 tube of lid sealant compound
